What is the city's plan?
Phase 1
Construction of Phase 1 began in the summer of 2009 and will span from Main Street to Jubilee. On improvements in downtown Winnipeg will also improve the connections around downtown and to the University of Winnipeg.
Phase 2
Mayor Katz and the City of Winnipeg are currently refusing to accept federal and provincial money for the extension of rapid transit from Jubilee to the University of Manitoba. The City has requested that funds allocated by the province for rapid transit be diverted to other projects.

The Morley Station is, more than any other station on the first phase, a blank slate. It is completely surrounded with unused land.
